Come on in and Get Some Hands On Inspiration at Make and Takes
Usually twice a month Inspiration Station hosts Make and Takes at our store location. Check out our Event Calendar for the Upcoming dates.
*Make and Takes are projects designed by our staff. We have multiple tables with multiple teachers. Participants will get to use various products, try new techniques, and learn about new products. These projects are all valued at between $3-4 each, ,but that is not what we charge!!
*We will usually have 4 different projects available, usually 2 cards and 2 scrapbook pages. Sometimes different projects such as gift holders, etc are offered. (They are always a surprise! Sometimes if you are our friend on Facebook, you might get a sneak peek.)
*Any customer over the age of 18 can complete any one project for free. They may complete any of the other projects for only $1 each.
*Each person may only complete one of each project.
*We usually have a second page available for purchase if you are a scrapbooker that likes to do double page spreads. Simply ask for the additional page at check out.
*Envelopes are not included, but may be purchased if we have them available.
*Can children participate? If you have a child that is capable of completing the project offered, it is at your discretion. We just ask that you be available to help the child if need be so that the line does not get backed up. Usually children 10 and above are more than capable with a little help. Children younger than 10, it really just depends on your child. You know your child's capabilities better than we do. We don't want to discourage any future scrappers or cardmakers! We just want to make sure that children do not monopolize a teacher's time or a spot at the table. Children pay $1 per project.
*During the School year Make and Take hours are from 10:30-5. During the summer Make and Takes are from 10:30-3. The store will maintain regular Saturday hours, 10:30-6:30 on Make and Take Days.
*We have never run out of a project, we usually prepare more than enough for all participants. If the unfortunate event occurs, it will be at the discretion of the manager on duty as to whether an additional project will be offered in its place. If so, it may be a past project from a previous Make and Take. But again, we do not anticipate running out!
*The purchase price of the Make and Takes are not punched on our Frequent Shopper Punch cards, as they are not regular priced merchandise.
